Ownership Opportunities

Aside from standard residentially zoned properties (which don't allow for nightly rentals) 

there are a variety of other ownership options for someone who is looking for their next home 

away from home, investment property, or both!

Phase I
 

Phase I ownership offers the best of both worlds with the option for short term rentals, long term rentals & unlimited owner usage. 

Owners of *most* Phase I properties are able to self manage their own rentals or can hire a property management company to manage their day to day operations.

Phase II


Phase II properties make up the majority of the hotel type properties found in Whistler. 

Phase II properties offer full ownership but with owner usage restricted to 28 days in the summer and 28 days in the winter.

Standard Residential

These can be in the form of townhomes, duplexes and chalets (single family homes). Some of these properties contain revenue generating rental suites.
 

Nightly rental and short term AirBnB is not allowed in a residential zoned property.

Partial Ownership

Properties that have been structured to operate under a Timeshare or Shared Ownership Model (Quarter Share, 10th share, 12th share etc..)

There are three Quarter Share Properties in Whistler; Horstman House, Evolution and Legends. These are a popular option as the set rotation gives owners 1 week per month.
